Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior PL/SQL Developer with 12+ years of expertise in Oracle database development, performance tuning, and enterprise application support. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in designing, developing, and optimizing PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries for mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for high-performance enterprise applications.
• Perform database performance tuning using execution plans, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
• Develop ETL processes for data migration, transformation, and integration.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and DBAs to gather requirements and deliver database solutions.
• Create and maintain database objects, data models, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Ensure data integrity, security, backup, and recovery standards are followed.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to continuous process improvements.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL Development.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or higher).
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Experience with Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Cursors, Collections, and Exception Handling.
• Strong knowledge of Query Optimization, Performance Tuning, and Execution Plans.
• Experience with Data Modeling and Database Design.
• Hands-on experience with ETL development and data migration.
• Experience with Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or SQL*Plus.
• Strong understanding of Indexing, Partitioning, Materialized Views, and Database Security.
• Experience with Git, SVN, or other version control systems.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Forms & Reports.
• Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Experience with Python or Java for database integration.
• Exposure to Oracle APEX.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Oracle Database Certification is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor''s or Master''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
