Summary

Principal Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications. This individual will play a key role in defining application architecture, leading complex engineering initiatives, and delivering scalable cloud-based solutions while remaining hands-on with software development.
Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and development of enterprise software applications.
  • Design and develop scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, SQL, REST APIs, and Oracle.
  • Drive cloud modernization initiatives within Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Partner with architects, database teams, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated technical solutions.
  • Establish engineering best practices, application standards, and architectural patterns.
  • Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and solution implementation.
  • Mentor and develop software engineers while promoting engineering excellence.
  • Identify technical risks and implement scalable, long-term solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into well-designed technical solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on performance, automation, and platform scalability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of enterprise software engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, SQL, RESTful APIs, and Oracle.
  • Experience designing and developing large-scale enterprise applications.
  • Experience with Azure cloud technologies and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and modern development methodologies.
  • Proven experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure B2C, Azure SignalR, Azure AI, or Azure AI Foundry.
  • Experience leading cloud migration or platform modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and enterprise integration.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled software solutions and modern cloud-native architectures.
