Junior Business Analyst
If you’re the person who asks “wait… why do we do it that way?” and then actually helps fix it — you’re probably going to love this role.
We’re looking for a Junior Business Analyst who’s organized, sharp, curious, and ready to learn fast.
Not someone who just takes notes in meetings.
Someone who listens, connects dots, asks better questions, and helps turn messy ideas into clear, buildable requirements.
You’ll work side-by-side with business users, UX, developers, and QA to make sure everyone is actually building the right thing the first time. You’ll help write stories, clean up Jira, prep UAT, and keep projects moving without drama or rework.
This is a fantastic “grow your career” seat. You’ll get exposure to real projects, real stakeholders, and real ownership — not just busy work.
Perfect for someone early in their BA career who wants hands-on experience and mentorship, not just theory.
Here’s what you’ll really be doing day to day:
You’ll sit with stakeholders, ask smart questions, turn conversations into clear user stories, and make sure every requirement is traceable and testable. You’ll help map out simple processes, prep testing scenarios, track decisions, and keep the backlog clean so engineers aren’t guessing.
You’ll be the person who brings clarity when things get fuzzy.
Must haves
• Live in the Houston area and able to be onsite in The Woodlands/Conroe regularly
• 0–2 years experience in business analysis, operations, or similar support role
• Strong writing and organization skills
• Comfortable talking with stakeholders and asking questions
• Basic understanding of Agile and user stories
• Detail oriented and naturally structured
Nice to have
• Experience working with software or product teams
• Jira or Confluence exposure
• Process documentation or workflow mapping
• Testing or UAT support experience
• Any UI/UX collaboration experience
This is a great entry point into a long-term BA career. You’ll learn fast, get real responsibility, and work with a team that values clarity and collaboration over bureaucracy.
If you want a place to grow, not just clock hours, let’s talk.
