Role: Equipment Automation Engineer

Location: Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)

Implement Equipment Automation (EA) solutions integrated with factory and business systems for customers.

Support EA solutions and help establish an offshore support model in APAC.

Guide teams to resolve issues and coordinate with MES and tool-software groups.

Collaborate with customer systems administration and IT teams to deploy, configure, develop, and maintain EA solutions.

Present technical information to contributors and managers.

Develop and deliver EA application training and demonstrations, and contribute to the knowledge base.

Engage closely with internal customers and end users, driving continuous-improvement initiatives such as 8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5-Whys.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and support equipment automation solutions.

Coordinate cross-functional teams and customer IT groups.

Provide technical presentations, training, and documentation.

Contribute to knowledge management and process improvement.

Key Skills & Experience:

Background in semiconductor, solar, display, or PCB manufacturing as an equipment-automation developer.

Familiarity with SECS/GEM protocol and SEMI automation standards.

Experience with factory-automation systems such as MES, Recipe Management (RMS), and Advanced Process Control (APC).

Proficiency with Visual Studio, C#, .NET, databases, and SQL.

Experience with enterprise automation software on Windows or Unix platforms using Oracle databases.

Demonstrated conceptual and practical expertise within equipment automation and related disciplines.
