We are looking for Senior Data Engineer for our client in Oakland, CA
Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $92.17hr - $97.17hr
  • Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure to enable efficient data access and analysis.
  • Develop and customize applications using low-code platforms to support business needs.
  • Design and manage data models, including schema design, security, and integrations.
  • Implement backend data integration solutions to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Deploy machine learning algorithms into production environments.
  • Analyze and resolve complex data and application issues.
  • Work on data-centric problems requiring in-depth analysis and innovative solutions.
  • Plan and execute tasks to meet project objectives and timelines.
  • Communicate technical recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering and ETL ecosystems.
  • Experience working with data integration and analytics tools.
  • Experience deploying machine learning models in production environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Ensure secure and efficient data integration across platforms.
  • Support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Should Have:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work on complex data challenges.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience mentoring team members.

Skills:

  • Expertise in data engineering tools and ETL processes.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, integration, and analytics platforms.
  • Understanding of software engineering practices such as CI/CD and version control.
  • Familiarity with machine learning deployment.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
