Pay rate: $20-21/hr on W2

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Network Technician to provide onsite network and telecom infrastructure support. The role involves responding to incidents, performing installations, troubleshooting network and power connections, and delivering smart-hands support across LAN, voice, wireless, and telecom systems. This is an onsite, field-based role requiring strong physical and technical network support experience.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Respond to ServiceNow incidents and perform onsite troubleshooting.
• Rack, stack, cable, install, remove, and decommission network equipment.
• Perform patching, power cabling, device swaps, and IMAC activities.
• Support LAN, WAN, WiFi, IP Telephony, and telecom infrastructure.
• Identify switch ports, circuits, demarc locations, and perform basic network tests (ping, DNS).
• Provide vendor escort and coordinate with internal IT, telecoms, and service providers.
• Perform visual hardware checks, environmental inspections, and report issues.
• Follow change management, safety, security, and compliance standards.
• Provide smart-hands support for fiber, wireless, RF, microwave, cellular, and IIoT systems.
• Assist during outages, emergencies, and disaster recovery scenarios.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience supporting network infrastructure and devices.
• Strong experience with cabling, patching, racking, and onsite network support.
• Working knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, WiFi, and IP Telephony.
• Experience supporting telecom and RF-based systems is a plus.
• Comfortable working onsite and following safety and compliance procedures.
