Job Description

We are seeking a Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in LoadRunner and APM tools to design, execute, and analyze performance tests for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in performance scripting, monitoring, and root cause analysis, along with solid Java and SQL skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner (Web HTTP/HTML, SOAP/REST, TruClient)
• Design workload models and test scenarios using Performance Center / LoadRunner Enterprise (LRE)
• Monitor test executions and analyze system performance using Dynatrace and Splunk
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for performance bottlenecks
• Create dashboards and reports for performance metrics and insights
• Write SQL queries to extract test data and troubleshoot issues (Oracle DB preferred)
• Analyze Java application performance, including thread dumps, heap dumps, and memory usage
• Collaborate with development and architecture teams to identify and resolve performance issues

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Performance Testing
• Strong hands-on experience with OpenText LoadRunner / Performance Center / LRE
• Experience with APM tools: Dynatrace and Splunk
• Expertise in performance scripting (Web HTTP/HTML, SOAP/REST, TruClient)
• Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies and system architecture
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate preferred)
• Strong SQL skills (Oracle preferred)
• Experience in test monitoring, debugging, and RCA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Java profiling (thread dump, heap dump, memory analysis)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
• Experience with tools like JIRA, JAMA
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice to Have

• Experience with performance dashboards and reporting tools
• Strong communication and analytical skills
