Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Looker Studio and Google BigQuery Developer with strong expertise in dashboard development, data visualization, analytics, and reporting. The ideal candidate must have prior experience working with Verizon and the ability to transform complex datasets into interactive dashboards and actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, KPIs, and data visualizations using Looker Studio.

  • Connect Looker Studio to Google BigQuery and other relevant data sources to support business reporting and analytics.

  • Develop and optimize BigQuery queries, data models, calculated fields, and data transformations.

  • Integrate Google Analytics data with BigQuery to support reporting, performance measurement, and business analysis.

  • Translate business requirements into executive-ready dashboards, reports, and actionable insights.

  • Optimize dashboard performance, query efficiency, data refresh processes, and report usability.

  • Define and maintain KPI metrics, reporting standards, and reusable dashboard components.

  • Validate data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across reports and underlying datasets.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver reporting solutions.

  • Troubleshoot dashboard, data connectivity, and reporting issues.


Required Technical Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with Looker Studio for dashboard and report development.

  • Proficiency in Google BigQuery, including SQL queries, data modeling, and query optimization.

  • Experience with Google Analytics, including data integration, reporting, and analytics.

  • Strong understanding of KPI development, calculated fields, data visualization, and dashboard optimization.

  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform and cloud-based analytics solutions.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Prior Verizon experience is mandatory.


Experience Requirements

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, reporting, analytics, or data development.

  • Demonstrated hands-on expertise in Looker Studio, BigQuery, and Google Analytics.

  • Previous experience supporting Verizon projects, systems, or business reporting requirements.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with large-scale datasets and enterprise reporting environments.

  • Knowledge of data quality, reporting governance, and performance optimization.

  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to business and executive stakeholders.
