Job Summary:

• We are looking for an experienced SAP PP / QM Consultant with 10+ years of experience in SAP Production Planning and Quality Management modules.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in discrete manufacturing environments, SAP PP/QM implementations, production support, and cross-functional integration.
• The consultant should have hands-on experience with SAP PP, SAP QM, Make-to-Order (MTO) scenarios, Variant Configuration, SAP APO GATP, and PP/QM integration with EWM and other SAP modules.
• The role requires strong business interaction skills and the ability to design, deploy, maintain, and support complex SAP planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide SAP PP and QM functional consulting support across implementation, enhancement, and production support projects.
• Lead and participate in end-to-end SAP PP/QM implementation activities.
• Configure and support SAP Production Planning processes including:
• Production planning
• Production orders
• Make-to-Order (MTO) scenarios
• Variant Configuration
• Configure and support SAP QM processes including:
• Quality Management in procurement
• Production in-process quality management
• Production Goods Receipt (GR) quality inspection
• Quality notifications
• Work directly with business users to understand requirements and resolve SAP issues.
• Analyze business processes and provide SAP solutions aligned with manufacturing requirements.
• Support integration between SAP PP/QM and other modules including:
• MM
• EWM
• SD
• APO
• Participate in system design, configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot SAP issues and provide functional solutions.
• Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements and debugging activities.
• Support SAP APO-GATP processes including availability planning and order promising solutions.
• Work on complex IT planning and ATP solutions across global environments.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of overall SAP experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in:
• SAP Production Planning (PP)
• SAP Quality Management (QM)
• Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP PP/QM implementation project.
• Experience in SAP PP/QM production support projects.
• Strong experience in discrete manufacturing industries such as:
• Automotive
• Heavy Equipment
• Semiconductor Equipment
• Medical Device Manufacturing
• Hands-on experience with SAP PP Make-to-Order (MTO) processes.
• Experience with SAP Variant Configuration.
• Strong knowledge of:
• SAP QM Procurement Quality
• Production In-Process QM
• Production GR Quality Management
• Quality Notifications
• Knowledge of PP/QM integration with EWM.
• Strong cross-functional integration knowledge with:
• SAP MM
• SD
• Other SAP functional areas
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and resolving production issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP SCM/APO Functional Analysis.
• Hands-on experience with SAP APO-GATP.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in:
• GATP (Global Available-to-Promise)
• Characteristics-based product availability
• Rules-based ATP
• Experience with at least 2 SAP APO-GATP implementation projects.
• Strong configuration experience in GATP solutions.
• Familiarity with GATP user exits.
• Experience with:
• Order creation
• Order fulfillment
• Order processing
• Transportation scheduling
• CIF technologies
• Knowledge of ABAP debugging.
• Exposure to SAP technical design, development, deployment, and maintenance activities.
