Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – W2 Only

Required Skills

  • 12+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM).
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog, ELK, or CloudWatch.
  • Knowledge of Linux administration, networking, DNS, load balancing, and security best practices.
  • Experience with incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and production support.

Responsibilities

  • Build, automate, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using observability tools.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using IaC.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve system reliability and performance.
  • Implement security, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance best practices.
  • Participate in on-call support and drive continuous operational improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • AWS Certification (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps) is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
