Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Android native development with Kotlin, mobile test automation, and CI practices and a proven ability to design, build, test, and release high-quality Android applications at scale.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and prototype Android applications for phones and tablets for internal and external users.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define app features and estimates.
- Ensure application quality, performance, and adherence to specifications.
- Identify issues, resolve bottlenecks, and fix defects prior to release.
- Develop and maintain Android native test automation using Kotlin and frameworks such as Appium.
- Publish applications to app stores and manage release activities.
- Maintain code quality, automation, documentation, and best practices across the lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Typically 5-7 years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of Android development with Kotlin and/or Java, including Core Java expertise.
- Hands-on experience creating automated tests for mobile using Appium or similar frameworks.
- Experience designing and building native Android applications and working with RESTful web services.
- Proficiency with Kotlin, Core Java, XML, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with device features such as biometrics, push notifications, and Camera APIs.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with continuous integration and unit testing practices.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and issue resolution focus.

- Start month: August.
- Interview process: Two rounds. Video required. Glider ID verification.
- Work setup: Hybrid with a minimum of three days per week onsite in Charlotte, NC.
