Summary

Job Title: Teamcenter X Functional Consultant

Location: Hybrid (Mutiple locations in USA)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter X Functional Consultant to support the implementation and rollout of Teamcenter X for Medical Device product development and quality processes.
  • The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, quality teams, engineering teams, and technical architects to translate business requirements into scalable PLM solutions while ensuring compliance with medical device regulations and industry best practices.
  • The role involves solution discovery, fit-gap analysis, process design, configuration guidance, testing, user adoption, and deployment support.

Required Qualification

  • Analyze AS-IS processes and define TO-BE process models aligned with Teamcenter X capabilities.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend solution approaches using Teamcenter X best practices.
  • Support implementation of Teamcenter X solutions for:
    • Part Management
    • BOM Management
    • Document Management
    • Change Management
    • Workflow Management
    • Classification
    • Requirements Traceability
  • Experienced on Teamcenter Solid works integration and Altium Integration
  • Define business rules, workflows, lifecycle states, numbering schemes, and release processes.
  • Support Design History File (DHF), Device Master Record (DMR), Document Control, and Design Control processes.
  • Collaborate with integration teams for SAP, MES, ALM, QMS, and enterprise system integrations.
  • Work with engineering teams to support MCAD and ECAD data management processes.
  • Support Teamcenter X integration requirements involving SolidWorks and Altium environments.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and solution validation activities.
  • Develop functional specifications, process documentation, training materials, and user guides.
  • Facilitate user training, change management, and business adoption activities.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants and solution architects to ensure successful project delivery.

Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Siemens Teamcenter certification(s) will be an added advantage.
  • Prior experience implementing Teamcenter solutions within the Medical Device, Life Sciences, or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Siemens Industry Solutions for Medical Device Technology (MDT), including domain-specific PLM processes, design controls, quality management, regulatory compliance, and product traceability best practices, will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with Teamcenter X SaaS deployments, Siemens Xcelerator ecosystem, and cloud-based PLM implementation methodologies will be considered a plus"
