SUMMARY

The Director, Program Management is a senior leader responsible for shaping strategic initiatives, optimizing project execution, and leading a team of IT program/project management professionals and agile coaches. As a critical member of the senior leadership team, this role influences business strategy, fosters collaboration, and drives delivery excellence across the organization. The Director thrives in dynamic environments, navigating ambiguity, anticipating challenges, and ensuring impactful results. This role requires a gifted communicator and adaptable leader who can inspire cross-functional collaboration, elevate team performance, and implement practices that support organizational success. By fostering accountability, enabling strategic execution, and championing continuous improvement, the Director of Enablement plays a pivotal role in scaling operational effectiveness and business impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead and empower a team of IT project managers, program managers, and agile coaches to deliver results aligned with strategic priorities

Collaborate with the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and Global Technology Organization (GTO) senior leadership team to inform strategic planning, address complex challenges, and make data-driven decisions

Foster accountability within GTO senior leadership by facilitating critical conversations and aligning teams to achieve objectives

Oversee the execution of the GTO project portfolio by partnering with business owners, defining expectations, and ensuring accountability for outcomes

Drive success through implementation of OKRs, enabling teams to set ambitious goals, leverage resources, and deliver measurable results

Champion a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement through structured feedback loops and professional development opportunities

Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insights, recommendations, and leadership support across initiatives

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field and a minimum of 12 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 8+ years of experience; or equivalent relevant work experience

Typically requires 5-7 years managing and developing employees

10+ years of experience in a similar role within a complex, fast-paced environment preferred

Proven fluency in agile methodologies; PMP certification strongly preferred

Track record of leading multiple teams and personally managing IT projects and programs; confident engaging in technical discussions with diverse stakeholders

Experience directly advising and partnering with executive leadership teams, with proven ability to manage confidential information discreetly

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across all levels of the organization

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate data into actionable insights and decisions

Demonstrated ability to thrive in high-growth and rapidly changing environments, balancing competing priorities effectively

Inspirational leadership style, fostering urgency, ownership, and high performance among teams

High emotional intelligence, with the ability to maintain diplomacy, collaboration, and composure under pressure

Flexibility to be available during business hours and occasionally after hours for critical collaboration needs

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
