The Display Hardware team is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the design and development of next generation displays in Mac products. You will be working in a collaborative environment where creativity and innovation are supported and expected. - Participate in core architecture definition and investigation while working closely with Apple cross-functional partners.\n- Support customized silicon chipset definition and development through system studies.\n- Lead design of PCB and electrical characterization/validation from prototype through mass production\n- Analyze & give feedback on mechanical and thermal constraints impacting EE design\n- Run simulations to meet various requirements such as Display, Touch, and Graphics\n- Participate in cross-functional design reviews as a stakeholder in the overall system design\n- Define factory data collection plan. Provide technical support and debug factory production issues.\n- Communicate and present technology updates and project status to executives and cross-functional teams.\n- Manage project milestones and issues through product development builds\n- Perform failure analysis on electrical, mechanical, and optical issues

BS in Electrical engineering with minimum 5 years industrial experience. \nKnowledge in mixed signal EE design at either IC or PCB level.\nExperienced in circuit design and analyses. Fluent with Spice based simulation tools.\nHands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification and manufacturing support\nExperienced in EE validation/characterization tasks, and familiar with lab tools and equipment\nAbility to communicate and present technology updates and project status to executives and functional teams.\nExperience in three or more of the following areas:\n\tDC-DC power converter design & analysis\n\tCustomized IC definition and development\n\tHigh Speed signaling, SI/PI/crosstalk analysis\n\tSchematic capture, PCB layout design, BOM creating with ECAD tools\n\tScripting, data processing or automation skills, programming experience in Python, Shell script, Matlab or similar tools \n\tFPGA/CPLD/MCU programming and design

MSEE or PhD preferred.\nWorking knowledge on modern display technologies, such as LCD, TFT, OLED, LED etc, is a plus.\nConsumer electronics and high-volume production experience
