Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Solution Architect / Network Architect with strong Cisco networking expertise and an active CCIE certification. The ideal candidate will operate at an advanced architecture and engineering level while also supporting critical network operations, troubleshooting, and optimization activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and support advanced Cisco network architecture, engineering, and operational initiatives.

• Support daily network operations to ensure network uptime, performance, and operational continuity.

• Perform advanced Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting across routing, switching, and production Cisco environments.

• Work extensively with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and IOS-XR platforms.

• Support routing protocol configuration, protocol redistribution, network configuration updates, and change management.

• Assist with network patching, upgrades, migrations, and technology lifecycle activities.

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complex network issues and provide recommendations for performance and reliability improvements.

• Contribute to network security hardening and provide technical support during incident response activities.

• Develop and maintain accurate network diagrams, SAN mappings, configuration records, and technical documentation.

• Provide knowledge transfer and technical mentoring to strengthen internal network operations capabilities.

• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, security, and operations teams on complex network initiatives.

Required Skills

• CCIE Certification – Mandatory

• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies.

• Advanced knowledge of routing and switching.

• Strong L2/L3 troubleshooting experience.

• Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, and IOS-XR.

• Experience with routing protocols and protocol redistribution.

• Experience supporting network upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management.

• Strong RCA and network troubleshooting capabilities.

• Knowledge of network security hardening and incident response.

• Strong network documentation and technical communication skills.

• Ability to work onsite in Boston, MA.
