Lead Electrical Engineer
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio

What You'll Do
Lead the design and development of ruggedized electronic systems for military applications.
Develop and refine technical requirements.
Interface with customers and cross-functional engineering teams.
Design analog, digital, power, and sensor interface circuits.
Perform simulations, tolerance analyses, testing, and validation activities.
Prepare and execute test plans and generate technical reports.
Lead failure investigations and root cause analysis efforts.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
Participate in design reviews and engineering change processes.
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Travel approximately 5-10%.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Skills
Proven experience in analog and digital circuit design, power circuit design, and sensor integration.
Proficient with analog components including differential amplifiers, op amps, and filters.
Experience with digital components including logic gates and timers.
Experience designing power supplies and converters.
Skilled with simulation tools such as SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink.
Experience using Altium, PADS, or similar PCB design tools.
Strong understanding of EMI, ESD protection, DFM, and circuit design best practices.
Experience developing test plans, conducting testing, and generating reports.
Skilled in troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, function generators, and standard lab equipment.
Experience leading technical projects and producing technical documentation.
Experience participating in design reviews and root cause investigations.
Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
Experience with Electronic Safety and Arming Devices (ESADs) is highly desirable.
Knowledge of extreme environmental testing and energetic materials.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Ideal Candidate
Senior electrical engineer with strong analog, digital, and power electronics design experience.
Proven technical leadership experience in aerospace, defense, military electronics, or ruggedized electronic systems.
Comfortable leading projects, mentoring engineers, and working directly with customers.
Experience with ordnance, fuzing systems, ESADs, or other high-reliability defense electronics is a strong advantage.
