Summary
Job Title: DevOps SRE
Location: PST - Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Client is looking for hands-on Python and strong Kubernetes (CI/CD). There will be technical interviews that involve scenario-based Python code writing and troubleshooting based on Kubernetes design/architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage production deployments, releases, and operational activities.
- Participate in on-call, incident response, troubleshooting, and RCA.
- Develop scripts/tools and automation to reduce manual operational work.
- Build and maintain observability using metrics, logs, dashboards, and alerts.
- Work with Kubernetes, containers, and/or public cloud environments.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability and drive improvements.
- Collaborate with development and platform teams on production readiness and reliability.
Skills / Experience:
- Experience in SRE, DevOps, Production Engineering, or a similar role.
- Good understanding of Linux and scripting/programming (Python, Shell, Go, etc.).
- Hands-on exposure to Kubernetes and/or cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a production/on-call environment.
