Title: Mid Level ETL Developer
Location: REMOTE
Duration: 6 month contract to hire (no sponsorship available)

The ETL Developer will play a crucial role in the field of data management and analytics by developing and maintaining data pipelines to ensure that data is collected, stored, and made accessible for analysis and decision-making. This position will be leveraging cloud technologies to build enterprise-wide data pipelines and assist in the building of data products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and maintain high quality ETL processes and data pipelines to move and transform data from multiple source systems (databases, APIs, logs, stream) to data warehouses and data lakes in accordance with specifications and supporting documents.
Design and implement data models and schemas to optimize data storage, query performance, and data access for analytical purposes.
Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Work with data warehousing technologies to store and manage large datasets efficiently.
Transform and clean data as needed to make it suitable for analysis, including handling missing data, data normalization, and data aggregation.
Monitor and optimize data pipelines and systems for performance and efficiency.
REQUIRED
Two (2) years of development experience with Microsoft SQL Server / BI Stack components including T-SQL, SSIS, ADF, SSRS, and SSAS (MDX & DAX).
Two (2) years of developing and delivering database solutions in an enterprise environment.
Knowledge of dimensional data modeling and database performance tuning.
Knowledge of data lakehouse architecture and design principles like medallion zones in a Delta Lakehouse.
Experience in MS cloud technology (i.e., Azure Data Services) to build enterprise-wide data solutions and data products. (Event Hub, ADF, ADLS, Azure Managed Instances, Databricks, Synapse, Purview, CosmosDB).
Experience in securing access to Azure Data Services (Key vault, Managed Identity, Service Principal, roles & privileges for AAD group access).
