Required Experience
• 10+ years of professional experience in healthcare, public health, data management, and enterprise systems management environments.
• Experience working with public health agencies and government organisations to modernize legacy data infrastructure and improve enterprise data management capabilities.
Project Overview
The client was established as a means of recognizing cost savings through the consolidation of IT assets and resources. The creation of consolidated a wide variety of
existing hardware platforms, operating systems, database management systems, networks, third-party software, and custom applications.
Duties/Responsibilities
• Select and manage teams supporting data modernization and informatics initiatives across enterprise environments.
• Lead strategic planning, implementation, and operational activities for data modernization programs and technology initiatives.
• Manage data infrastructure to improve data integration, interoperability, data governance, and reporting capabilities.
• Support development of reporting solutions, dashboards, and data visualizations to enhance business intelligence and decision-making.
• Ensure modernization initiatives improved data quality, timeliness, coordination of data systems, and operational efficiency.
• Assist in integrating emerging and open-source technologies to support scalable and modern data management solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to assess data environments and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Contribute to the development of data warehouse strategies and enterprise data integration solutions.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred Experience
• Master’s degree in public health, health informatics, data science, or other related field.
