Summary

Hi All,

Good Morning,

We have an urgent position for the below mentioned requirement.

Title: Senior DevOps Architect
Location: Reading, PA (100% Onsite)—F2F Mandate
Duration: 6 Months

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Senior DevOps Architect to lead the transformation, scaling, and governance of our multi-cloud enterprise infrastructure. In this role, you will be the primary authority on cloud architecture, container orchestration, and proactive monitoring strategies.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex software engineering, cloud administration, and stringent regulatory environments, ensuring our platforms are resilient, secure, and fully compliant with global standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure & Cloud Architecture:
  • Design and maintain scalable, resilient, and cost-effective multi-cloud environments spanning AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Standardize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployment pipelines to eliminate configuration drift across environments.
  • Architect high-availability networks, transit gateways, and hybrid cloud connectivity blueprints.
Containerization & Platform Engineering:
  • Lead the architecture and lifecycle management of containerized ecosystems using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Design, deploy, and administer Red Hat OpenShift clusters at scale, focusing on multi-tenancy and security hardening.
  • Optimize resource utilization (CPU/Memory limits) and storage provisioning for stateful and stateless container workloads.
Observability, Monitoring & Logging:
  • Establish an enterprise observability strategy by integrating Dynatrace for deep application performance monitoring (APM) and synthetic tracking.
  • Build and scale open-source metrics collection and alerting infrastructure using Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Architect a centralized log management platform using the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) to handle multi-terabyte data ingestion, retention, and parsing.
Governance, Compliance & Security:
  • Embed automated regulatory guardrails directly into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous SOX and GDPR compliance.
  • Enforce data sovereignty rules, role-based access control (RBAC), encryption-at-rest, and encryption-in-transit configurations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external audit teams to generate data lineage reports and validate infrastructure system compliance controls.
Required Technical Skills:
  • Cloud Providers: Expert-level mastery of AWS and Azure; strong proficiency in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Container Orchestration: Heavy hands-on production engineering with Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Monitoring & Analytics: Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
  • Compliance Standards: Demonstrated history of delivering systems bound by SOX and GDPR frameworks.
  • Automation/IaC: Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Soft Skills & Leadership:
  • Communication: Ability to articulate complex architectural tradeoffs to executive leadership while maintaining the technical depth needed to coach engineering teams.
  • Problem Solving: Exceptional root-cause analysis skills for complex, distributed multi-cloud system failures.
  • Adaptability: Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with a highly critical, immediate deadline schedule.
