Job DetailsShift: 3pm to midnight Monday through Friday
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and direct 1st shift production supervisors to meet daily production targets
- Ensure product quality, yield optimization, and efficient labor utilization
- Monitor and report key production metrics (efficiency, downtime, yields)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing and TQM
- Enforce compliance with HACCP, GMP, USDA, OSHA, and internal standards
- Partner with maintenance teams to ensure equipment uptime and reliability
- Collaborate with plant leadership, vendors, and regulatory agencies
- Maintain accurate HACCP documentation and production records
- Supervise, train, and develop 40-50 employees
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and attendance
- Conduct team meetings, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Qualifications
Needed:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience in poultry or food manufacturing
- Experience or strong background in high-volume food production environments
- Strong background in HACCP, GMP, USDA, and OSHA compliance
- Proven ability to lead teams, improve processes, and drive operational efficiency
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Ability to work in cold, wet, and physically demanding environments
