Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Technical Program Manager for a US Remote position with a Leading Technology Firm. This is a 7+ month contract opportunity. This role is focused on driving the execution of complex technical programs and projects. The ideal candidate will leverage their technical expertise and program leadership to proactively solve problems, drive alignment across cross-functional teams, and increase execution efficiency and communications. TPMs often work closely with engineering, product, and legal teams to ensure successful outcomes, particularly in areas like privacy, compliance, and data governance.
Responsibilities: - Help define the right scope, goals, and metrics for projects and programs
- Build alignment between teams and coordinate dependencies
- Identify risks early and work to reduce surprises
- Keep stakeholders informed and ensure transparency
- Track progress, remove blockers, and ensure timely delivery
- Enhance process structures to support project teams
- Advocate for quality in technical design and system architectures
Requirements: - Strong communication skills with the ability to keep communications concise and to the point
- Experience in non-consulting backgrounds (management or traditional consulting firms will not be considered)
- Demonstrated career stability with 2+ years of tenure in previous positions
- Ability to work on the west coast time zone
Desired skills: - Startup or self-employment experience is a plus
- Willingness to work on-site in San Francisco is a strong preference
Pay range: up to $152.31 per hour
