Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Tester - Planning and Optimization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Understanding requirements from a business perspective to be validated through testing and assessing them in the context of an Agile/Scrum delivery model
- Understanding of the SDLC activities expected to deliver custom developed and packaged applications
- Well experienced in Software Quality Principles, Advanced Test Methodologies, Best Practices and Procedures
- Understanding conventional and cloud testing strategies.
- Proactively keeping up with the latest trends in testing
- Experience working with business users coordinating, facilitating UAT
Experience and Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of Overall experience with 3+ years of exposure to Blue Yonder (JDA) planning applications such as Demand, Fulfill and / or Inventory Optimization.
- Database - Knowledge/experience working with DMLs, preferably with Oracle database.
- UNIX & Shell scripting - Basic knowledge such as reading the shell scripts, executing basic commands, executing shell scripts manually etc.,
- SCPO database schema: Knowledge/experience on key data elements, their storage (table names) and data relationships
- SCPO UI Must have basic knowledge on objects in UI, navigating through UI, understanding how SCPO works.
- Good to have experience with similar products from vendors such as Manhattan, Relex ( if not Blue Yonder)
- Strong QA foundation and ability to perform Integration testing, back-end testing, database validation skills, End to End and Regression testing.
- Strong foundation on Test Design and requirement analysis
- Test Management, Defect management( Defect Identification, logging, retesting and Closing), Test Data management
- Advanced knowledge of test engineering practices within an Agile SDLC methodology.
- Familiarity with: Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT).
- Exposure on Jira, Confluence
- Exposure on any Test Management Tool say TestRail
- Automation Tools & Framework experience ( Good to Have)
- Collaborate with Scrum Team to come up with QA Strategy and implement the same
- Recommend improvements into overall best practices, design, testability, quality, and test Reports.
- Generate Weekly Reports/ Agile test metrics as needed
- Highlight Risks and mitigation around Testing practices and environments
- Prior experience testing planning applications, specifically demand & inventory planning
- Experience performing QA Test plans for SaaS / Cloud based apps

This is a remote position.
Salary/ Rate: $55-$58/hour (depends on experience level). This is a contract position with candidates expected to work 40 hours/ week.
