Job : Senior Workday Functional Lead
Location : Remote

Duration : 9 12 Months

We are seeking a Senior Workday Functional SME/Lead with 6+ years of Workday experience and strong expertise in Core HCM, Workday Security, and Talent/Recruiting.

The ideal candidate will serve as a primary client-facing SME, working directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide Workday recommendations, resolve functional issues, and support ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the Workday Functional SME for Core HCM, Security, Talent, and Recruiting modules.
  • Work directly with client business teams and stakeholders on requirements, issues, and solutions.
  • Provide Workday best-practice recommendations and functional guidance.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
  • Lead and coordinate offshore Workday teams supporting ongoing operations.
  • Manage operational support activities, issues, enhancements, and production problems.
  • Serve as the liaison between the client/business teams and offshore delivery teams.
  • Provide functional leadership and ensure timely resolution of Workday issues.
  • Participate in client discussions, workshops, solution reviews, and status meetings.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process and Workday improvements.

Required Skills

    • Workday Core HCM
    • Workday Security
    • Workday Talent / Recruiting
  • Strong client-facing and consulting experience.
  • Experience providing Workday recommendations as an SME.
  • Experience managing or coordinating offshore teams.
  • Strong understanding of Workday production/operational support.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
