Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator (VMware Tanzu) to design, implement, and manage Kubernetes-based container platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tanzu environments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application deployment.
Required Skills
  • VMware Tanzu (mandatory)
  • CI/CD and vRA Pipelines / Kubernetes cluster management
  • NSX / AVI Load Balancers
  • Scripting: PowerShell, YAML, Python, Ansible
  • Monitoring & Tools: Datadog, Flux, Helm Charts
  • Tanzu Mission Control (TMC) & VCF
  • Understanding of SDLC and application architecture
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage VMware Tanzu environments
  • Deploy, scale, and manage Kubernetes clusters
  • Containerize applications and integrate them into Kubernetes environments
  • Monitor system performance and improve scalability and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Tanzu and Kubernetes environments
  • Collaborate with development teams for application deployment and integration
  • Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders and team members
Essential Qualifications
  • Strong experience in performance analysis, capacity planning, and resource utilization
  • Experience in planning, testing, documenting, and implementing system maintenance
  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and provide technical expertise
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written)
  • Leadership skills including mentoring and coaching

  • VMware and Kubernetes certifications
