Oracle Cloud Core HR & Benefits Functional SME

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Core HR & Benefits Functional Consultant responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR and Benefits modules. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, HR teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and optimized HR solutions aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oracle Cloud Core HR

• Lead implementation and support of Oracle Cloud Core HR module.

• Configure Workforce Structures, Legal Entities, Business Units, Departments, Jobs, Positions, and Grades.

• Manage employee lifecycle processes including hiring, transfers, promotions, terminations, and global transfers.

• Configure Person Management, Document Records, Checklists, Journeys, and Approval Workflows.

• Ensure data integrity, security roles, and compliance with organizational policies.

2. Oracle Cloud Benefits

• Configure Benefits Programs, Plans, Options, and Eligibility Profiles.

• Manage life event processing and open enrollment configurations.

• Design benefit rate calculations, coverage rules, and plan types (medical, dental, vision, retirement, etc.).

• Support benefits integrations with payroll and third-party vendors.

• Troubleshoot enrollment issues and ensure accurate benefit processing.

3. Functional Design & Implementation

• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and gap analysis sessions.

• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDD), Configuration Workbooks (FW), and Solution Design Documents (SDD).

• Configure application setups, perform unit testing, SIT, and support UAT cycles.

• Support data migration activities including HDL/HCM Data Loader templates.

• Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, reports (BI Publisher, OTBI), and fast formulas.

4. Security & Compliance

• Configure role-based access control (RBAC) and data security policies.

• Ensure compliance with HR policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.

• Support audit activities and provide documentation as required.

5. Post-Go-Live Support

• Provide production support and issue resolution.

• Manage change requests and enhancement activities.

• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and end-user training.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud HCM   Core HR & Benefits.

• Experience in at least 2+ full lifecycle implementations.

• Knowledge of Fast Formulas, HDL, OTBI, BI Publisher, and workflow configurations.

• Understanding of HCM security roles and approval hierarchies.

• Experience with integrations between HCM, Payroll, and third-party benefit providers.

Functional Knowledge

• Strong understanding of HR business processes and benefits administration.

• Experience with employee lifecycle management and open enrollment cycles.

• Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to HR and benefits.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Cloud HCM Certification (Core HR or Benefits).

• Experience in US Benefits configuration (highly preferred).

• Experience in global HR implementations.
