We are seeking a seasoned Sr. Azure Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in cloud computing, specifically with the Microsoft Azure platform, and will possess an in-depth understanding of the manufacturing industry. As a Sr. Azure Administrator, you will play a crucial role in designing and managing our Azure environments, ensuring their security, compliance, monitoring, reliability, and optimization. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to lead on-premise to Azure migrations and contribute significantly to our governance and cost management strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Azure environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
  • Lead on-premise to Azure migrations, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal downtime.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system reliability and stability.
  • Develop and implement Azure policies and governance strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Manage Azure AD Connect and other Azure services to ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructures.
  • Optimize resource usage and implement cost management strategies to ensure efficient use of Azure services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Azure and cloud computing, and implement new technologies as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Azure administration, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Extensive experience with Azure services, including Azure AD Connect.
  • Proven experience in leading on-premise to Azure migrations.
  • Strong understanding of Azure policies and governance strategies.
  • Solid experience in security and compliance, monitoring, reliability, and optimization of Azure environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Azure Certifications would be a definite plus.
