Senior Integration Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is partnering with a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a Senior Integration Engineer with deep expertise across several key areas, including healthcare EDI configuration, implementation, testing, and ongoing support; claims platform administration, troubleshooting, and monitoring; scripting and automation; AWS infrastructure; and SQL. This individual should also have experience collaborating directly with clients on system implementations and resolving production issues.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 4-7 years of experience in IT operations or systems engineering
* 2+ years of supporting enterprise application platforms
* 2+ years of hands-on EDI support experience within a healthcare payer or TPA environment
* Proven experience working within AWS, including SFTP integrations, Lambda functions, S3, Transfer Family, and file structure management
* Advanced knowledge of healthcare EDI transaction sets, including 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 999, and 834
* Strong proficiency in developing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries
* Experience with scripting and automation using tools such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
* Familiarity with secure file transfer protocols and data exchange processes
* Exposure to clearinghouses (e.g., Waystar) and staging workflows
* Broad understanding of infrastructure environments (Windows, Linux, and related systems)
* Experience managing file feeds and data integrations with internal teams and external partners
* Ability to prioritize and coordinate technical tasks in partnership with business stakeholders
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Analytical mindset with solid troubleshooting and investigative capabilities
* Knowledge of security protocols for electronic data transmissions
* Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
* Experience collaborating with third-party vendors
* Understanding of HIPAA regulations and handling of protected health information (PHI)
* Comfortable managing multiple priorities and solving complex issues with limited direction

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
