The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in application development, .NET technologies, and collaborative team environments, supporting both commercial and government agency projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement applications utilizing the .NET framework and Microsoft Technology Stack (C#, ASP.NET, SQL, etc.)
- Provide application development and implementation services to commercial companies and government agencies
- Collaborate with team members to improve produced work through code reviews and other collaborative activities
- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, including working with XML and JSON formats
- Perform application development services within an iterative (Agile) development environment
- Work with user groups to develop streamlined and user-friendly interface input and output methods
- Design, develop, and implement solutions involving public-facing (external users) and back-office (internal users) functionalities, including mass uploads and data migrations
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience providing application development and implementation services to commercial companies and government agencies
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience designing, developing, and implementing applications using the .NET framework and Microsoft Technology Stack (C#, ASP.NET, SQL, etc.)
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in team environments with code reviews and collaborative development practices
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs with XML and JSON
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in an Agile (iterative) development environment
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience working with user groups to design effective UI/UX input and output methods
- Minimum of two (2) engagements involving public-facing and back-office applications, including mass uploads and data migration
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience reviewing application remediation plans and assessing system impacts
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing and documenting test plans and test cases
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience using Azure DevOps for version control and development management
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing testing to validate application operations in new environments
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing and validating UAT plans with stakeholders
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading unit, integration, system, and UAT testing activities
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience executing test cases and documenting defects
- Experience working with legacy technologies such as Visual Basic 6 and ASP Classic
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting IT projects for governmental agencies
Education Required:
- Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience
