Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual QA Test Engineer with experience in Android Auto and mobile application testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and functionality of software products by designing and executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain manual test cases based on functional requirements and technical specifications.
  • Perform manual testing of Android Auto, mobile, and web applications.
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not impacted by new releases or fixes.
  • Use ADB (Android Debug Bridge) for debugging and validating Android application behavior.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint meetings, and QA discussions to report testing progress and challenges.
  • Maintain clear and concise test documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Assist in creating and updating test plans, test strategies, and QA documentation.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-4 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
  • Hands-on experience testing Android applications, preferably Android Auto.
  • Strong experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
  • Working knowledge of manual testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts (nice to have).
  • Experience using ADB (Android Debug Bridge) for testing and debugging.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High level of ownership and passion for quality assurance.
