Role: Workday Integration Developer-Finance

We are seeking Workday Platform Engineers who are passionate about developing highly resilient, fundamentally sound solutions to support the core Finance technology driving our client’s organization. As part of a team leading large-scale transformation initiatives, you will play an integral role in advancing the client’s Finance Technology ecosystem and culture of technical excellence. You will champion automation of functional and technical processes and leverage your expertise to deliver innovative solutions.
General Responsibilities:
• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios
• Understand and translate business priorities while aligning with Finance value propositions and strategies
• Deliver solutions on the Workday platform across Finance modules including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments, and Suppliers through efficient and well-structured processes while maintaining high standards
• Effectively communicate with the team, Product Owner, and stakeholders, and influence solutions across business partners
• Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate with Finance stakeholders to redesign business processes that optimize outcomes
• Stay current with Workday technology, platform updates, fixes, and new capabilities
• Build and maintain thorough documentation for system implementation and ongoing support
• Serve as the primary contact for functional and technical system-related questions
• Provide production support by troubleshooting issues, testing solutions, and partnering with business users to resolve problems
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 4 years of Workday platform engineering experience
• At least 2 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions
• At least 2 years of experience working with APIs within the Workday environment using REST or SOAP
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5+ years of experience working with Workday platform across Finance modules (General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Global Consolidation, Invoices, Payments, and Suppliers)
• 3+ years of experience designing and developing integration solutions in Workday
• 3+ years of experience working with APIs using REST or SOAP within Workday
• Workday Integration Developer certifications
• 1+ years of experience designing and developing solutions using Workday Extend
• 1+ years of experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or other cloud platforms
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile environments
