As a member of the team, you'll have the opportunity to work cross-functionally to expand the\nfunctionality of the Health app and HealthKit framework. We collaborate across Apple feature\nteams, hardware teams, domain experts like doctors and fitness experts, and our third party\ndeveloper ecosystem. Our primary responsibilities are delivering new health and fitness\nfeatures, designing solutions for distributed health data storage, performance, OS integration,\nand API design and delivery.
BS Computer Science or equivalent experience\nStrong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals\n2 years of experience working in Objective-C, Swift, C++ or similar high level programming languages\nStrong understanding of algorithms and data structures\nExperience in object-oriented architecture and design\nUnderstanding of systems-level concepts like multi-threading and interprocess communication\nExperience with debugging tools and performance tuning\nKnowledge of iOS programming and one or more Apple technologies such as Grand Central Dispatch, CloudKit, or XPC Activity/Services\nStrong communication skills, including ability to collaborate in a diversity of backgrounds and experiences\nWillingness to learn and improve, and also mentor and support other team members\nHighly organized, maintaining patience and composure to effectively operate within ambiguity.\n
Experience with distributed systems design and development\nExperience with SQL and database technologies\nExperience delivering libraries, frameworks or APIs\nFamiliarity with Fitness, Wellness or Medical concepts
