Job Description

Role Summary

We are looking for a Google Cloud Platform Cloud Architect with a strong IT Infrastructure background to design, implement, and support cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data center technologies, networking, virtualization, and cloud security, along with solid knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services and architecture best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement Google Cloud Platform cloud architectures (Compute, Storage, VPC, IAM).
Lead migration of on‑prem workloads (VMs, apps, databases) to Google Cloud Platform.
Build secure, scalable, and cost‑optimized cloud solutions.
Design hybrid connectivity (VPN, Interconnect, VPC Peering).
Implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform.
Ensure cloud security controls, IAM policies, and compliance are in place.
Work with Infra, Security, DevOps, and Application teams to deliver solutions.
Troubleshoot cloud performance, networking, and infrastructure issues.
Prepare HLD/LLD, architecture diagrams, and deployment plans.

Required Skills

Strong background in IT Infrastructure (VMware, Linux/Windows, Storage, Networking).
Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, Load Balancing, Cloud Armor, IAM).
Knowledge of networking concepts (Routing, Firewalls, DNS, VPN, NAT).
Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
Understanding of cloud security, encryption, and best practices.
Experience in cloud migration and modernization projects.

Preferred Qualifications

Google Professional Cloud Architect certification (preferred).
Additional infra or security certifications (VMware, CCNA/CCNP, RHCE, Security+).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Cloud Build, Jenkins).
