Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable cloud-native platforms. This role focuses on Kubernetes-based environments, GitOps deployment strategies, and improving automation, reliability, observability, and security across modern infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Amazon EKS, ArgoCD, Istio, and GitLab CI/CD.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage containerized infrastructure using Kubernetes on Amazon EKS
• Build and maintain GitOps-based deployment pipelines using ArgoCD and GitLab
• Implement and manage Istio service mesh for traffic routing, security, and observability
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and related tools
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Collaborate with development, security, and cloud teams to enhance platform reliability
• Establish best practices for containerization, scaling, and high availability
• Strengthen platform security including IAM, secrets management, and network policies
• Drive performance tuning, cost optimization, and platform modernization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience managing workloads on Amazon EKS
• Expertise in ArgoCD and GitOps practices
• Strong experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline development
• Hands-on experience with Istio or similar service mesh technologies
• Solid understanding of AWS services, networking, IAM, and security
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with microservices and distributed systems
• Familiarity with container security, policy-as-code, and security scanning tools
• AWS or Kubernetes certifications
• Experience working in enterprise or regulated environments
