Our client has built an enterprise intelligence platform on Microsoft Fabric that spans multiple operating entities and supports daily executive decisions. Ownership is now moving in-house, and this role is the person it moves to. You'll take over the platform from the implementation partner, run it independently, and extend it with new data sources, dashboards, and applied AI solutions. This is a hands-on architect role with real ownership of architecture, tooling, and the roadmap.

• Job Type: Direct Hire
• Location: Fully Remote
• Compensation: This job is expected to pay about $168K -$170K annually, plus bonus eligibility
• No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

What You'll Do:

• Own the Microsoft Fabric platform end to end, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold medallion layers on Delta Lake across all operating entities
• Complete knowledge transfer from the implementation partner and operate, monitor, and support the platform independently
• Build and extend PySpark and SQL pipelines, the unified Power BI semantic model, and executive dashboards as new systems and ERP data come on board
• Identify business problems AI can solve, then build and ship solutions including document processing, workflow automation, agents, and forecasting models
• Maintain CI/CD through Azure DevOps Git across dev, UAT, and production, along with row-level security, data quality, and platform documentation

What Gets You the Job:

• 7+ years in data engineering, business intelligence, or analytics engineering, including 2+ years hands-on with Microsoft Fabric
• Personally built at least 2 enterprise-level data or BI platforms end to end, from architecture through production, with work samples available to share
• Deep experience with medallion architecture, Delta Lake, PySpark, SQL, and expert-level Power BI (semantic modeling, DAX, row-level security)
• Applied AI solutions built and shipped against real business problems, plus strong requirements gathering and business analysis skills
• A current Microsoft Fabric certification (DP-600 or DP-700), or the ability to earn one within 90 days of hire; machine learning and forecasting experience preferred
