Location: Spring, TX 100% Onsite
Experience: 10+ years
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and administer VMware NSX-T/NSX security and networking.
- Implement Distributed Firewall (DFW), Gateway Firewall, and micro-segmentation for zero-trust security.
- Manage Tier-0/Tier-1 routing, logical switching, VPNs, and load balancing.
- Administer NSX Managers, Edge Nodes, and Transport Nodes, including upgrades and patches.
- Troubleshoot network/security issues and support incident response.
- Automate using PowerCLI, PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or NSX REST APIs.
- Monitor using VMware Aria Operations, Network Insight, and Splunk.
Required Skills
- VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX-T
- BGP, OSPF, VXLAN/Geneve, VLAN, TCP/IP
- DFW, L4-L7 Firewall, IDS/IPS, Micro-segmentation
- PowerCLI/PowerShell, Python, Terraform
- Experience with Palo Alto/Check Point and AWS/Azure networking preferred.
- VCP-NV / VCAP-NV / CCNA / CCNP preferred.
