A recognized services organization in the Tri-State Area is seeking a new Head of IT Infrastructure to join their team. This leadership role oversees enterprise infrastructure, cloud operations, cybersecurity, end-user support, and critical business systems to ensure a secure and efficient technology environment.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Hours: Standard business
Setting: Preference for someone local to NJ, NY, or PA, but at a minimum in the EST time zone
Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance practices across the organization
Oversee hybrid multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, including security, provisioning, backup, and disaster recovery
Direct internal help desk operations and manage onboarding, offboarding, and endpoint support processes
Serve as the primary contact for managed service providers and ensure vendor performance aligns with service expectations
Administer and optimize core enterprise systems, including recruitment platforms, Jira, and NetSuite
Qualifications:
8+ years of progressive IT experience, including 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing infrastructure, cloud operations, and vendor management
Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure architecture, administration, and security tooling
Experience managing and integrating enterprise applications, including recruitment staffing systems, Jira, and NetSuite
Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as SOC 2, NIST, or ISO 27001, along with IAM and endpoint detection tools
Proven experience managing MSP contracts, vendor selection, and outsourced IT service delivery
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to present technical strategies to executive leadership
Desired Skills:
ITIL Foundation Certification
Experience with cloud cost optimization and capacity planning
Strong ability to manage cross-functional priorities in a fast-paced environment
