Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Senior Automation Test Lead to support a critical healthcare technology project. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in healthcare claims processing, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) testing, HIPAA X12 transactions, SQL queries, and test automation.

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, validating healthcare data transactions, performing functional and regression testing, and ensuring the quality and reliability of healthcare applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and software design documents to develop comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.

• Develop and execute test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.

• Perform quality assurance and testing of healthcare EDI applications.

• Develop and execute test scripts for HIPAA X12 EDI transactions, including 837I, 837P, 839, and NCPDP D.0.

• Validate healthcare claims processing workflows and EDI data transmission.

• Develop and maintain automated test suites to improve test coverage and efficiency.

• Write SQL queries to validate database records and identify data discrepancies.

• Review, analyze, and report test results, defects, and testing progress.

• Utilize HP ALM and Jira for test management and defect tracking.

• Perform web application testing and validate end-to-end functionality.

• Collaborate with business and technical teams to prepare business and QA documentation.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Work within an Agile environment and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Communicate testing results and quality issues effectively to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing test cases based on business requirements and software design documents.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in functional, integration, and regression testing.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare claims processing testing.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in QA and testing of EDI applications.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing and executing test scripts for X12 EDI transactions, including 837I, 839, and NCPDP D.0.

• Minimum 2 years of experience writing SQL queries.

• Minimum 3 years of experience reviewing, analyzing, and reporting test results.

• Minimum 3 years of experience testing web applications.

• Minimum 2 years of experience preparing business and QA documentation in collaboration with business teams.

• Minimum 1 year of experience developing automated test suites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HP ALM and Jira for test management and defect tracking.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development life cycles.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet concurrent deadlines.
