Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES) Tester

Our client is seeking an experienced Tester with a strong background in Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES) environments supporting Health & Human Services programs. This individual must be able to contribute immediately with little to no ramp-up and possess a deep understanding of eligibility operations, business processes, and system functionality within state government programs.

This is not a role for a general QA Tester. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting Integrated Eligibility initiatives involving programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, Child Care, or related HHS systems.

Responsibilities:

• Execute functional, integration, system, and user acceptance testing activities
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Collaborate with business users, developers, and project stakeholders to validate system functionality
• Participate in requirements reviews and ensure test coverage aligns with business needs
• Support validation of system enhancements, defect fixes, and production releases
• Utilize testing and defect management tools such as JIRA and Selenium

Required Skills:

• Strong experience supporting Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES) projects
• Experience with Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, Child Welfare, Child Support, or other Health & Human Services programs
• Demonstrated software testing experience in government or public sector environments
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios
• Experience managing defects and working within structured testing processes
• Ability to quickly understand complex eligibility workflows and business processes

Preferred Skills:

• Selenium or other automation testing experience
• Experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools
• Prior Deloitte, state government, or public sector consulting experience
• Experience supporting large-scale eligibility modernization initiatives
• Candidates located in or near Lake Mary, FL are highly preferred
