The Ask? Client is looking for a Power Technical Sales Engineer is a customer-facing technical expert responsible for supporting sales teams in driving adoption of Nuclear critical power technologies across hyperscale, colocation, Neocloud and enterprise data center markets. This role combines deep electrical engineering knowledge with strong commercial acumen to guide customers, channel partners, and design firms toward optimal solutions using power distribution solutions, switchgear, STSs, e-Houses, HVAC and emerging energy storage technologies.

Skills and Experience
- Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline required.
- 10 years of experience in data center critical power systems, technical sales, or sales engineering.
- Familiarity with UPS systems, STSs, switchgear, PDUs, e-Houses, HVAC and Uptime Institute topologies.
- Knowledge of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems and power distribution; understanding of reliability engineering concepts.
- Experience with energy storage technologies; ability to interpret electrical drawings and system studies.
- In-depth knowledge of public sector procurement, compliance requirements, and solution delivery models for agencies at federal, state, and local levels.
- Experience solving business-critical government challenges related to digital transformation, security, process efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, requirements analysis, solution architecture, and implementation oversight.
- Excellent communication, public speaking, and team collaboration skills.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with agency leaders and stakeholders to identify challenges in government service delivery, compliance, regulation, and operational efficiency.
- Analyze business processes, regulatory requirements, and constituent needs unique to targeted federal, state, and local government agencies.
- Identify solutions that address top public sector pain points, including digital transformation, legacy system modernization, government security mandates, compliance with procurement laws, and citizen service improvement.
- Lead discovery sessions with government agencies to conduct needs assessment and gap analyses.
- Develop and deliver tailored solution proposals that demonstrate measurable improvements in government performance, transparency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Serve as the primary technical resource to sales teams across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico for critical power products and systems; develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution briefings.
- Work with customers and consulting engineers to define requirements and recommend complete power architectures; Validate system sizing, load requirements, redundancy schemes, and integration of renewable or backup power sources.
- Provide technical input for RFP/RFQ responses, commercial proposals, and scope clarifications; collaborate with product management, applications engineering, and project teams.
