Position: Data Project Manager Location: Cupertino, CA; Raleigh, NC (Hybrid 3 days a week onsite) Duration: 9+ Months Contract

Responsibilities:

Lead large-scale, cross-functional data and technical programs by translating high-level business objectives into structured execution plans, including a well-defined program charter and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) to ensure clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes across teams.
Define program scope, priorities, and technical dependencies, while building phased roadmaps that align engineering, analytics, and compliance teams with evolving business goals and organizational strategy.
Drive capacity planning and resource management, ensuring optimal allocation of engineering, analytics, and operational resources while proactively identifying staffing gaps and prioritization needs to maintain program momentum.
Identify and manage technical, operational, financial, and resourcing risks, performing impact and probability assessments while implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and decision-making, enabling teams to resolve blockers, manage competing priorities, and support effective change management within complex organizational environments.
Deliver clear and consistent stakeholder communication, providing executive-level status reports that highlight program health, progress, risks, and key milestones.
Utilize project management tools such as Jira, Wrike, or similar platforms, leveraging automation and API integrations to improve workflow efficiency and reporting.
Ensure comprehensive documentation, knowledge transfer, and smooth program closure, enabling operational continuity and long-term sustainability of delivered solutions.
