Based in Westminster Colorado, this incredible team is looking for a skilled and experienced Sr. DevOps engineer with 8-12 years of experience who can lead the design, implementation and continuous improvements of secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include AWS Organization, SCP concepts, secure-by-default designs, and having the ability to use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack for proactive monitoring and logging. Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership for DevOps architecture, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and operational best practices across multiple programs and internal platforms.
  • Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable, and highly available infrastructure solutions in AWS and other cloud environments.
  • Drive technical standards and best practices for Infrastructure as Code, system hardening, monitoring, logging, incident response, and deployment automation.
  • Moderate proficiency using languages such as Python and bash scripting.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform for managing infrastructure.
  • Can apply understanding of engineering process to guide Software and DevOps projects from start to finish, in all phases.
  • Keeping up with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in DevOps and related fields.
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Understanding of server management, configuration, and maintenance
  • Beginning to contribute to company best practice improvements.
  • Engaging in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry best practices and innovations.
  • Familiarity with Git and other version control systems for managing code repositories
  • Skills in cybersecurity, threat investigation, vulnerability assessment, and change management.
  • Ability to use tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack for proactive monitoring and logging.

Required Skills:
  • B.S. required or equivalent professional work experience required; Master's preferred
  • Cloud Professional cert (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform DevOps Pro) OR demonstrated enterprise infra leadership
  • Security+ current
  • Demonstrated leadership of DR/HA design & compliance automation

Preferred Skills
  • CISSP, CEH, advanced Kubernetes/IaC
  • Leads critical DevOps projects, ensures the stability and scalability of production systems, and champions improvements to CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provides leadership and clear direction
  • Facilitates cross-functional meetings that integrate DevOps perspectives into application design and infrastructure planning.
  • Sets learning goals for personal and team development in state-of-the-art DevOps techniques, including blue/green deployments and chaos engineering.
  • Owns critical components of the deployment process, balancing rapid release cycles with robust operational practices that ensure high availability and security.
  • Serves as a go-to resource for solving difficult technical problems that span multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Champions ethical conduct within the team, establishing clear expectations and addressing issues promptly and fairly.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base Salary Range - $125,000 - $145,00 based on role, employee experience, and location
