Data Analytics Specialist - Remote / Telecommute

• Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering advanced data analytics solutions that support business decision-making and strategic planning.
• The role involves building predictive and prescriptive models, developing data products, improving analytics capabilities, and translating complex datasets into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

Requirement/Must Have:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Six or more years of experience using statistical and programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
• Six or more years of experience building analytical and quantitative models.
• Six or more years of experience in data science, data engineering, or AI-related projects.
• Six or more years of experience preparing data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
• Strong understanding of statistical modeling and data science methodologies.
• Experience with statistical and data mining techniques for business problem solving.
• Ability to analyze and structure large datasets for insights and decision-making.
• Experience working in multi-stakeholder and cross-functional environments.

Experience:

• Experience building end-to-end analytical or AI-enabled applications including data ingestion, modeling, and user-facing solutions.
• Experience designing dashboards, reports, and visualization tools.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Experience supporting data-driven decision-making at enterprise level.
• Experience applying machine learning and statistical modeling techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and execution of analytical projects and data products.
• Develop and maintain data models and analytics solutions.
• Analyze and prepare raw data for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
• Build algorithms and analytical tools that deliver business value.
• Improve data quality and enhance analytics capabilities across the organization.
• Conduct complex data analysis and collaborate with data engineers and analysts.

• Develop metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators for business outcomes.
• Integrate quantitative and qualitative data to generate business insights.
• Support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis.
• Document metadata, analytical products, and data workflows.
• Identify risks, escalate issues, and support resolution processes.

Should Have:

• Experience with data governance concepts such as metadata, data quality, and de-identification.
• Experience working with data linkage, ethics, and data sharing practices.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and workflows.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Snowflake.
