Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data QA Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, data/report testing, and regulatory reporting validation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data analysis, testing methodologies, and debugging complex data issues within data warehouse environments.
This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to validate large datasets and regulatory reports to ensure accuracy, compliance, and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform data and report testing for regulatory and enterprise reporting.
Write complex SQL queries to validate and reconcile large datasets.
Validate data pipelines and reporting outputs across data warehouse systems.
Conduct end-to-end testing following standard SDLC and testing methodologies.
Perform root cause analysis and debugging of data discrepancies.
Review and oversee testing documentation and validation reports.
Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and compliance teams.
Support regulatory reporting validation and compliance initiatives.
Required Qualifications (MUST HAVE SKILLS):
5 8 years of experience in Data & Report Testing
Strong expertise in SQL and testing methodologies
Experience working with regulatory reports / compliance reporting
Intermediate to strong Data Analysis skills
Experience with Python or R for data validation and automation
Knowledge of Data Modeling & Data Warehouse concepts
Working knowledge of standard software testing cycles (SDLC/STLC)
Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
Nice to Have:
Experience in financial services or regulated environments
Automation testing exposure
Strong documentation and communication skills
