Kforce has a client that is seeking a PeopleSoft Programmer IV in Orlando, FL.
Summary:
The PeopleSoft Programmer IV plays a senior technical role in the development, customization, integration, and ongoing support of a PeopleSoft Campus Solutions environment. This position focuses on advanced application development, system integration, troubleshooting, and technical leadership while supporting mission-critical ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, enhance, and maintain PeopleSoft Campus Solutions applications
* Build and support custom solutions using: PeopleTools; PeopleCode; Application Engine; Component Interfaces; Integration Broker; SQR; Advanced PL/SQL
* Develop user-focused functionality with attention to usability and performance
* Perform advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for application and system issues
* Support ERP applications and related integrations, including Informatica and other enterprise systems
* Partner with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical system specifications
* Review and analyze system and business processes to identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and re-engineering
* Promote continuous improvement through best practices, quality standards, and testing methodologies
* Ensure code quality through peer reviews, testing, and adherence to development standards
* Serve as a technical lead on complex projects and initiatives
* Provide guidance and direction to junior programmers and systems analysts
* Conduct code reviews and support knowledge sharing across the team
* Mentor student interns and contribute to internship project oversight
* Collaborate across technical and functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
* Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, system documentation, and standard operating procedures
* Provide training and knowledge transfer to IT staff and end users as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
* Extensive experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions
* Experience with ERP integrations and enterprise systems
* Experience working with business stakeholders and translating requirements into technical solutions
* Strong proficiency with: PeopleCode; PeopleTools; Application Engine; Component Interfaces; Integration Broker; SQR; Advanced PL/SQL
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor others
Preferred:
* Experience with Informatica integrations
* Exposure to statistical modeling or data analysis tools
* Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or higher-education ERP systems
* Prior experience serving as a technical lead on ERP projects
Work Environment:
* Enterprise IT environment supporting mission-critical systems
* Collaborative, team-based setting
* Focus on reliability, security, and long-term system sustainability
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
