Job Description: Scrum Master P&C Insurance / Guidewire
 Location: Trenton, New Jersey, USA (Day 1 Onsite)
Job Type: Contract   Job Summary   We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master with strong Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain knowledge and Guidewire product experience. The ideal candidate will facilitate Agile delivery, coach cross-functional teams, remove impediments, and ensure successful project execution in a fast-paced environment.   Required Skills

• Strong experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.

• Hands-on experience with Guidewire products, including ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, and/or BillingCenter.

• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Agile methodologies.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification preferred.

• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools.

• Strong communication, facilitation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

• Guide Agile teams in following Scrum principles and best practices.

• Collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize and manage product backlogs.

• Identify and remove impediments affecting sprint goals and delivery timelines.

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to manage dependencies and risks.

• Coach team members on Agile practices, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Track Agile metrics, including sprint velocity, burndown charts, and team performance.

• Promote transparency, collaboration, and continuous feedback.

• Support the delivery and implementation of Guidewire-based insurance solutions.

• Ensure teams maintain a sustainable pace and deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Scrum Master or Agile delivery roles preferred.

• Experience working with P&C insurance projects and Guidewire implementations.

• Proven experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and managing cross-functional teams.

• Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work onsite in Trenton, New Jersey, from Day 1.

Preferred Qualifications

• CSM or PSM certification.

• Experience with SAFe, PI Planning, and Agile Release Trains.

• Familiarity with Guidewire ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, and BillingCenter.
