- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a PostgreSQL DBA.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture and internals.
- Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and patching PostgreSQL databases.
- Knowledge of indexing, partitioning, vacuum, autovacuum, and database maintenance.
- Experience with database monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming skills.
- Experience with shell scripting (Bash/Python).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS RDS PostgreSQL, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, or Google Cloud SQL.
- Understanding of database security, user management, and auditing.
