Senior Tableau Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Tableau Developer. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Tableau development, data visualization, SQL, ETL processes, and enterprise data integration. Candidates must have prior Higher Education domain experience, as this is a mandatory client requirement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory

• 15+ years of overall IT experience.
• Strong experience in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Cloud.
• Expertise in developing interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Experience integrating enterprise data from multiple sources.
• Knowledge of APIs and SharePoint integration.
• Strong understanding of enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing Tableau performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior Higher Education domain experience is mandatory.

Preferred

• Tableau Certified Professional or Tableau Desktop Certified.
• Experience with Tableau Server administration.
• Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Build scalable reporting solutions using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Cloud.
• Develop efficient SQL queries and optimize data extraction processes.
• Create and maintain ETL workflows for enterprise reporting.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise systems using APIs and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure dashboard performance, scalability, and data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and provide ongoing production support.
• Follow data governance and reporting best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
