Position Overview
HIRE Technology is seeking an experienced Payroll Implementation Project Manager to lead a payroll vendor transition for a large enterprise client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing payroll implementations, coordinating vendors and integrations, and ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining payroll accuracy, compliance, and data security.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the payroll vendor transition from planning through go-live.
- Coordinate project activities across Payroll, HR, IT, and external vendors.
- Oversee data conversion, integrations, testing, and reconciliation.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, risks, and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure implementation readiness, compliance, and payroll continuity.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience managing payroll implementations or vendor conversions.
- Strong knowledge of payroll operations, processes, and compliance.
- Experience coordinating payroll vendors, system integrations, and testing.
- Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience
- Blue Bison payroll solutions.
- Workday HCM integrations.
- Payroll data security and compliance initiatives.
