Summary

Job Title: Senior Data Migration Consultant

Job Type: Contract
Location: Hybrid
Experience Required: 8–12 years
Compensation: $60 - $70/hr

Roles & Responsibilities – Senior Data Migration Consultant (Temenos Core Banking)  The Consultant shall provide specialized professional services in data migration for core banking implementation projects within Temenos T24 / Temenos Transact environments for banking operations. 

  

1. Data Migration Leadership & Execution 

• Lead and manage end-to-end data migration activities from legacy banking systems to Temenos T24/Transact environments.  

• Define and execute data migration strategies, approaches, and transformation rules.  

• Lead full migration lifecycle including data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and loading.    

 

2. Data Analysis & Mapping 

• Analyze source system data structures and map them to Temenos T24/Transact target data models.  

• Ensure accurate alignment of legacy data with T24/Transact data architecture and business requirements.  

• Develop and maintain data mapping specifications and transformation logic.    

 

3. Module-Specific Migration Support 

• Manage data migration activities for the following domains:   o AA Module (Arrangement Architecture – Loans, Deposit, Account and its related modules)   o Payment Modules  

• Ensure end-to-end data integrity across all migrated banking products and modules.    

 

4. Technical Coordination & Execution Support 

• Collaborate closely with bank technical teams, business users, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful migration execution.  

• Work with Database Administrators and technical teams for database preparation, performance tuning, and issue resolution.  

• Support technical migration activities including environment readiness and execution support.    

 

5. Migration Planning & Cutover Management 

• Lead planning and execution of migration cycles including mock runs, dress rehearsals, and production cutover activities.  

• Define and manage migration schedules, dependencies, and risk mitigation actions.  

• Support go-live execution and post-migration stabilization activities.

    

6. Data Quality & Reconciliation 

• Perform data quality assessments, reconciliation, validation, and defect analysis.  

• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of migrated data.  

• Identify, analyze, and resolve migration-related data issues.    

 

7. Testing & Production Support 

• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production validation activities.  

• Provide post-go-live support to ensure business continuity and data accuracy.    

 

8. Documentation & Reporting 

• Prepare and maintain migration documentation including:   o Data mapping documents   o Migration plans and strategies   o Reconciliation reports   o Execution and cutover reports  

• Ensure proper documentation of all migration processes and outcomes.   

 

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

The salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all U.S. locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Final compensation decisions will depend on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate.
